The world's smallest drone autopilot system will be an open source.

Bart Remes and his team at Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) have developed the world's smallest drone autopilot system and decided to make it open source so that everyone benifits from the technology. The Lisa/S chip is a 1.9-gram silver of silicon that can be used in any type of drones. Remes believes open source drone technology will help improve agriculture and benefit search and rescue operations.
